Greek Students Shock Europe And Win At SEEMOUS Mathematical Olympiad

Greece won almost every single award at the 2015 Mathematical Olympiad (SEEMOUS) which was held in Ohrid between March 3-8. As such, the Democritus University of Thrace, the National Technical University Of Athens, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Aristotle University Of Thessaloniki were awarded with five gold, five silver and five bronze medals.

The South Eastern European Mathematical Olympiad for University Students with international participation began in 2007 following an initiative from the Mathematical Society of South Eastern Europe.

The Mathematical Society of South Eastern Europe (MASSEE) was established in March 2003.
