Irish-Greek Community - Dancing for Greece

Dear members and friends

After the unfortunate comments of the Minister of Finance, as well as the plethora of negative comments against Greece and her People, and after the suggestion of an Irish friend of our Community, the Management Board decided to organize a solidarity event to Greece. We are going to gather on Sunday May 27 at 14:00 in Grafton Street (near St. Stephen's Green) and we are going to dance Greek dances. Our aim is to attract the attention of the passers by in an unusual but enjoyable way, raise awareness of the grave situation for the people in Greece and try to negate with our discussions the propaganda our country has been hit with by the European media.

Please come along to dance for Greece and to support this effort.

Kind regards
Dr. Thomais Kakouli
Vice President
Hellenic Community of Ireland
